Weekly Menu 6/3-6/7

Happy Summer!  For me, June signals the start to this great season.  We are headed to Kiawah Island, SC just outside of Charleston.  This is our usual spot and we love it.  So this week’s menu is inspired by that location.  Stay tuned this week to see some amazing houses on Kiawah and for some Charleston tour tips!

Monday – Mussels Steamed in Wine and Garlic – served with crusty bread for sopping!!

Tuesday – Low Country Shrimp and Grits – the Deen Brothers have the best recipe!

Wednesday – Panzanella Salad – great for using up any leftover bread.  Croutons mixed with fresh tomato, cucumber, onion, basil and prosciutto in a light vinaigrette.

Thursday – Orecchiette with Sausage and Spinach

Friday – Low Country Boil – a classic when in the coastal South!
